What Were The Options Again?

December 12, 2006

Congressman Silvestre Reyes is confused:

Reyes stumbled when I asked him a simple question about al Qaeda at the end of a 40-minute interview in his office last week… The dialogue went like this:

Al Qaeda is what, I asked, Sunni or Shia?

“Al Qaeda, they have both,” Reyes said. “You’re talking about predominately?”

“Sure,” I said, not knowing what else to say.

“Predominantly — probably Shiite,” he ventured.

Reyes is the new head of the House Intelligence Committee.

Kill Whitey Guide (v 2.0)

May 12, 2004

The Amrozi method of targetting the destruction of infidels (Australians, Americans…. whatever, they are all white people) has now been updated, according to online Al Qaeda manual Targeting The Cities.

Terrorism expert Clive Williams said the document was significant as it named, for the first time, Australians rather than Westerners in general as the number one target in Indonesia. Mr Williams also said it appeared Australia was increasingly named in al-Qaeda documents as a result of involvement in the war in Iraq.

The 11-page manual by an al-Qaeda leader in Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz al-Mokrin, ranks Australia fourth on an overall list of “human targets” behind Americans, British and Spanish and ahead of Canadians and Italians.

Interesting to note that the Spanish still rate above us, despite their new socialist president’s pledge to immediately withdraw troops from Iraq. Likewise, those poor Canadians just can’t get off the list no matter how hard they try.

Even more interesting though, is the ranking of exactly what type of infidels Al Qaeda would like to explode the most:

The manual also lists groups of people according to their importance as targets. Businessmen, bankers and economists are first, then diplomats, politicians and scholars, thirdly scientists, and experts and then soldiers. Tourists are ranked last.

Do you see what I see?

Yes, it’s strange that economists (like John Quiggin, a vocal opponent of the war in Iraq) rank higher than politicians (like that other John, who was directly involved in the decision to send Australians to Iraq). Perhaps Clive Williams was a little presumptious in attributing the cause to the Iraq war after all.

That’s not really the key feature though. I’m thinking specifically of the scholars. Or, as we like to call them here in infidel-land, Academics.

Ranking right alongside the warmongering politicians and child molesting diplomats are the ever-so-appeasing academics: Like Alison Broinowski, who revealed that the Bali bombing was ever so predictable. Beer swilling Australian tourists – causing Bali’s nightspots to become “jagged with strine” – were practically gagging for a bomb up the clacker.

Unfortunately for Alison’s theory, tourists are actually the least bombworthy of all the infidels!

Back to the drawing board then for Alison, who finds herself ranked above Australian soldiers, and right alongside Johnny Howard, on Al Qaeda’s list of bombees.

Academics like Alison would be well served to follow the example of the least hated class of infidel – the tourist. It’s not really that difficult…grab yourself a cheap ticket to Bali, rent a surfboard, knock back a few Bintangs and maybe drag one of the locals home for a bit of Jiggy-Jig. Don’t argue the price too much though. You might be mistaken for an economist.

Tolerance Time

May 3, 2004

Muslim terrorists – who, we are constantly reminded, are but a tiny minority who are casting a bad light on an otherwise peaceful and noble religion – have carried out over 400 acts of terror around the world since September 11, killing over 7000 people and injuring over 10,000. Here’s a chart. (which is in Dutch, but it’s not too difficult to understand in any case).

That’s only up until the 15th of April. What have muslims (the bad kind, of course, not the vast majority of good ones who enjoy the simple pleasures of life – like honour killings, jew-hating and female circumcision) been up to in the last fortnight?

Well, lots of things. I don’t want to be here all day, so I’ll just relate the last 24 hours:

THE Australian engineer killed in Saudi Arabia was shot dead by Islamic terrorists who worked undercover alongside him, it emerged yesterday.

Anthony Richard Mason, 57, and four other Westerners were gunned down by men who worked as security guards at the giant Exxon Mobil refinery complex in the Red Sea port city of Yanbu. A Saudi was also killed.

And that’s not all:

Palestinian gunmen shot dead a pregnant Israeli and her four daughters yesterday as they drove from their Gaza home to campaign against Ariel Sharon’s plan to evacuate about 8,000 Jews from 21 Gaza settlements and four on the West Bank.

The two gunmen fired at the family’s white Citro?n estate car on the road from the Gush Katif settlement block. Israeli police said the vehicle spun off the road. The assailants then approached the car and shot Tali Hatuel, 34, and her children, aged between two and 11, at close range. They were the first civilian Israeli victims in Gaza in more than a year. Mrs Hatuel, a social worker, was eight months pregnant.

You can’t blame them, though. During the week it was revealed that some evil Americans made fun of muslims and took photos of their willies. That’s just horrific.

Pls Bring Children To Spatter With Blood

April 29, 2004

My mother is a member of the Australian Greens (I know, I know) and is also hopelessly computer illiterate (who would have suspected those things went together?). The result of this is that I have my email address on the Greens mailing list, providing me with an endless stream of entertaining lefty wank. For example:

Tandanya and the Greens (S.A.) invite you
to a very special education, reconciliation and action event
on Wednesday, May 5th from 5.30pm to 7.30pm
at Tandanya Indigenous Cultural Centre, 253 Grenfell Street, Adelaide

BLACKFELLA – WHITEFELLA TALKING…is a gathering to encourage the horizontal exchange of information and ideas between black and white fellas. If you’ve ever yourself agonised over, and wanted to know more about the burning issues most concerning representatives of Adelaide and South Australia’s First Nation People, to listen, question, discuss, share stories and swap ideas, then come along.

If it’s all the same to you guys, I think I’d rather chew all my fingers off. And what the hell is “horizontal exchange of information”? Is that some kind of euphemism for sex?

Anyway, this is the email that prompted this post. It’s from NOWAR-SA but is being passed along by the Greens mailing list.

Please come to the steps of Parliament House, Adelaide at 4:30pm Friday 23rd April

THE APPALLING SITUATION IN FALLUJAH THAT HAS BEEN BROUGHT ABOUT BY THE INVASION OF IRAQ must be brought to the notice of the people of South Australia

We want people to wear clothing that looks as though it is blood splattered. Wear white T-shirts and put anything red on them. We are going to have a “DIE-IN” on the steps. We will ask you to lie down there. If you think it is OK, please ask your children to come to represent the many children who have been murdered in Fallujah this past week.

A “DIE-IN”. The peace movement has come a long way since the days of John Lennon. I can see the conversations now:

Mummy, why are we putting red paint on my shirt?
Well dear, we’re going to a DIE-IN, and I’m covering you with fake blood so we can pretend you’re dead, to represent all the boys and girls just like you who have died horribly in Iraq in the last week!

All the way nice.

Osama Is An Arsenal Fan

April 22, 2004

British police have foiled a terrorist plot to detonate suicide bombs at this weekend’s English Premier League soccer match between Manchester United and Liverpool, according to British press reports today.

Tuesday’s Sun newspaper claimed that 10 people arrested in anti-terror raids had been involved in a plan to target United’s 67,000-capacity Old Trafford stadium on Saturday.

I’m not particularly knowledgable about England’s demographics, but I was under the impression that Manchester has a fairly high concentration of Muslims. Wouldn’t it be better to blow up somewhere where there are LESS muslims and MORE infidels? Or is it just a case of “kill as many people as you can and let Allah sort ’em out”?

I wouldn’t want to be head of security at the SCG or MCG today.

Afterthought: First Madrid, now Manchester. What’s the link? Beckham. I recommend we ship him off to Gitmo just in case.

Surely Not

France bashing: Justified or just getting carried away?

You decide…

China and France will hold rare joint naval exercises off the mainland’s eastern coast on Tuesday, just four days before Beijing’s rival, Taiwan, holds presidential elections.

Conrad has more.

Need Money For Guns And Bombs

November 18, 2003

Hey, at least we’re not bullshitting you!

A group of Italian anti-war militants is raising funds to support the armed Iraqi resistance, the BBC has learned.

The discovery comes as Italy mourns 19 men killed in a suicide attack in Iraq last week.

The “Antiimperialista” organisation’s internet campaign asks people to send “10 Euros to the Iraqi resistance”.

They say they have collected 12,000 euros ($14,165) in the past eight weeks and admit the money used could be used to buy weapons.

The Antiimperialistas are a group of European anti-war and anti-globalisation supporters.

They are currently organising an anti-war demonstration in Italy next month, and it remains to be seen whether news of the fund-raising activities will deter more moderate anti-war activists from attending.

The organisation’s Italian branch says the money will be given to an Iraqi resistance group known as the Iraqi Patriotic Opposition.

Independent Iraqi sources in London say the leaders of this group have a long history of association with the Baath party and are now back in Iraq supporting the armed resistance.

Anti-War Militants? The BBC is really scraping the bottom of the politically correct barrel with that one.

Please give your moral equivalency-based reasoning why these retards shouldn’t be tried for treason in the comments box below.

What’s The Free Kick Count?

October 6, 2003

An emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council is under way in New York over an Israeli air strike deep inside Syria.

The attack on what Israel calls a terrorist training camp for the group Islamic Jihad has met with widespread international condemnation.

Israel says the raid was a response to the weekend suicide bombing in Haifa that killed 19 people and that it will continue to exercise its right of self-defence.

“Strongly Condemned”, “Condemned” and even “Strongly Deplored

It’s so monotonous, It’s almost like watching the post-match AFL player interviews. The UN is just taking it one condemnation at a time. The murder in Haifa was “strongly ignored”.

The interesting thing is that there is no mention of the number of people killed in the bombing in Syria. I guess that means there were none. Considering that Syria and Israel are still at war, one wonders what in particular is so worthy of condemnation. Or, as they’d say at the footy: “You were both in it, Play On”.

Get Your Hamas Here

September 24, 2003

Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job of convincing him it was the UWA Student Guild, because Labor MP Michael Danby is pressuring the Attorney-General to launch an investigation into the so-called “WA Hamas Support Group”.

What most readers don’t know about is that one of Mr Danby’s staffers contacted me last week to ask me if I had any further information about the group after my original post. The cat was out of the bag and I was forced to admit that I had no idea whatsoever, but it was the sort of stupid shit they are renowned for.

Obviously my uninformed opinion was taken with more than a grain of salt, because the UWA Guild Offices have not been subject to an ASIO raid yet. I live in hope.

Note to ASIO agents monitoring this blog: You could also check Murdoch. Lots of crazy leftists there.

P.S. How great is that “Nuffsaid” guy?
